How we work together

It starts with a complimentary call. From there, we decide the right next step together, whether that's a direct placement at no cost to you or paid advisory work tailored to your situation.

Start here

The initial conversation

In 15 to 30 minutes, I get a clear picture of what's going on and what kind of support might help. There's no cost and no obligation to continue. By the end, you'll know your next step. If that step is a direct community placement, we continue on at no cost to your family. If it calls for paid advisory work, I'll walk you through the pricing on that same call, so you can decide with no surprises.

Where things go from there

Two ways I can help

Assisted Living & Memory Care Placement

Always complimentary to your family

If a move to assisted living or memory care is the right step, I help you narrow options, prepare for and coordinate tours, compare communities, and settle in after the move. This is always at no cost to you. I'm paid a referral fee by the chosen community.

  • A conversation to understand the right level of care
  • A curated shortlist of communities
  • Tour coordination, preparation, and accompanying you on tours if you'd like
  • Side-by-side comparison and decision support
  • Transition support and a post-move check-in

I won't recommend a move unless I believe it truly makes sense.

Aging Transition Advisory

Flat fee or hourly, based on your needs

Sometimes a family needs more than placement, like family meetings for decision facilitation, planning after a hospital stay, or help coordinating other levels of care such as home care. In those cases, we work together directly. Pricing is a flat fee or an hourly rate depending on your needs.

  • Family meetings and decision facilitation
  • Connecting you with home care, personal care, adult day, respite, transportation, meals, and medication reminders
  • Planning for levels of care beyond assisted living and memory care
  • A practical, written next-step plan you can act on
  • Ongoing guidance as your family's needs change

Paid work is never required. It's simply there when your situation calls for more than a placement.

Sometimes a move is the most loving choice.

When assisted living or memory care is the right step, I'll help you make the decision with confidence instead of guilt. Choosing more care isn't giving up.

The whole picture

What we look at together

Every recommendation is individualized. Before suggesting a path forward, we talk honestly about how your loved one is really doing and what your family can realistically sustain. These are conversations and everyday observations, not medical assessments.

  • Safety at home, and any recent falls
  • Whether they're keeping up with medications
  • Meals and eating
  • Hygiene and daily living
  • Isolation and connection
  • Memory changes you've noticed
  • Wandering or leaving the home
  • Caregiver burnout
  • Family dynamics
  • Budget and finances
  • Geography and logistics
  • What your loved one actually wants

Let's look at what's really happening.

Tell me what's going on with your loved one. Together we'll figure out the next right step, whether that means more support at home, assisted living, or memory care.
